Oil on Canvas
Jonathan Zhang
Chinese-born, Sydney-based painter whose expressive canvases bridge East and West. Drawing on the ink-wash traditions of his homeland and the freedom of Western expressionism, Zhang's lotus and rose studies capture the fleeting poetry of nature in thick, luminous impasto.
